Posts: 142 05/19/09 1:50 AM	I haven't stitched much in the past two weeks. I think it's because it's suddenly turned into winter in NZ. Cold, wet and and DARK. I'm just mucking about on the net or watching TV then going to bed on week days and in the weekend I'm reading. I need to get off my butt and not let winter get me down. I saw it and fell in love straight away... it is a very quick stitch if you pull your needle out!!! though I would say... a min 32 count hand dyed.... or use the dmc alternatives... because the thread coverage is not so good with the hand dyed's they have recommended... I just recently got my pink Winter Queen back from the Framer. I will post a pic soon. It turned out really nice! I also recently had blue Winter Queen and Garden Verses framed. Cheryll

Posts: 219 05/19/09 8:48 AM	Been working on PR Mediterraneo, but then my stitching lap stand was bothering my back. ( I was making good progress too and I think will pick it back up this week) So... I started Holly last week as a break, but since I am discovering I don't have all the beads and kreink (and not really enough good subs at home) I'll probably order those soon, and will not quite get her done this week. I also promised myself I would work on TW Peacock Tapestry this long weekend, as the DH is out of town and I can really spread out all over the living room!

No doubt there will be lots of bling as well but of course once I have the chart there will be my anniversary, birthday, christmas etc etc... the whole family knows of my "obsession" so they now always supply me with gc or stash money to "enable" me. I even have them searching for "sales" when traveling and visiting other cities at the LNS that they happen to come across... have been able to get a number of silks and delicas that way.. Marg

I'm also working here and there on PR's Enchanted Fairy. I've got all her hair done but can't bring myself to be bothered to stitch any more of her. Not feelin' the love, I guess. Then there's always Chatelaine's Taj Mahal that now that I've seen Fairy Garden, I feel obligated to stitch on some more.... No clue what's next...Cottage Garden Fairy has been calling lately......
