It's not even framed!!!! I know we all bemoan the fact that people don't value hand crafts, but as an experienced and passionate stitcher, I still think this price is INSANE and ridiculous. What do you all think?

Ouch - it's probably right though for the amount of time she spent working on it ($10 a hour would make 570 hours which doesn't sound unreasonable).
Doubtful she'll get that much though.

No, it's not a typing error. She's got 3 listed for all about the same price. I'd sell any finished piece (framed even) hanging on my wall for
that............ But no one in their right mind will pay that. She needs to pass the crack pipe!!

I just feel that one could get ORIGINAL art, in a frame, for that. Yes...our work is valuable, and the skill is important, but this is merely a stitched
recreation of someone else's art. We are not Michaelangelos, Picassos, or Da Vincis....I agree w/ Vanessa, I want what she's on!!!

I don't think I could ever sell my cross stitch some of mine are almost like old friends, silly I know. As for the price well my shop wall must be worth
a fortune!

She's nuts. Not for thinking her stitching is worth that, but for listing it for that! Nobody in their right mind would spend that much on a stitched
piece. Original art yes. Stitching no.

 ' I agree, that price is
crazy. I'd sell all my stuff if I could make that much!
Incidentally, I love the fact she offers free postage - because that makes the deal SO much more attractive!

Wow!..... I think I can become rich!!!!!! I made "guardian Angel" for my girlfriend (80some odd thousand stitches), took me 1 1/2 years and
"eyes in the dark" ( dont know how many stitches but about the same size as the above) and several other large pieces and now working on two
Chatelaines.......I'm thinking they should go for at least 8 to 10 thousand? what do you think...... hey maybe ill even frame them and lets see, maybe
start at 15000, ohhhh just think of the stash I can buy with all that cash!!!

The thing that gets me is that there are listing fees on ebay that you have to pay even if the item doesn't sell. They've revamped the system recently,
but in the past, the listing fee was higher the higher your starting price was, independent of the FVF (percentage Ebay takes from the actual selling price IF
sold). So, just having those items listed is costing her money.
