Hello,
I was hoping that you could all help me. I am desperately looking for a book by Paula Vaughan, called Quilts of The Bible number 60. I have been working on a special project for my grandmother when my copy was destroyed. I am 2/3 of the way through the Rose of Sharon, which she has 2 or 3 named that, I have spent the last 4 hours searching the web and no luck. I was hoping you all might have an idea where I may be able to track this down it would mean so much to me!

i just got the mag from janie today and will be starting as soon as i finish stitching sweet pea (Just her legs and beads left) im going to use smf moon princess for this as i dont like the colour of the suggested fabric.

Yikes, I hope you like it too! It's a very nice, subtle warm earth tone with a pretty, even mottling that doesn't come across much in pics. I think I have it for JN's Florentine Floral...I think it'll pop the jewel colors and be reminiscent of the old buildings and textiles in Florence!

When anyone is done with their mag and want to trade/sell it I would be interested. I inherited a lot of floss and could exchange the colors to maybe six strand sweet or something.

DMC Color Variations #4100 looks very similar, maybe a tad lighter; I think it would be pretty.

I bought WDW Autumn Leaves but I didn't think it looked quite right, I don't have a thread preference. I probably would have a dmc in my house that I could use tonight or I could go to the store tomorrow and buy a varigated.

I did, I like copper penny. i have it for something else and it's quite nice. I don't *really* mind, once I finish the SF, I'll just use the thread for projects on higher linen counts where 1 strand works. I just think it was a BS choice to specify the 3 strand.

Emily, I just ordered the package from Drema. Did you get the fabric? If so, did you like it? I am not to bothered if it is 3 ply. Like what other designs call for this Valdani thread anyway? Julia :-)

But it won't be extra usable floss, it'll be the lonely overdyed third strand from each length....grrrr.
