My Mom's Pink Cinderella HD

My mom, Phyllis, finished Cinderella conversion in pink that she did herself. I'm very proud of her and I think that it came out fabulous.

Well, after about two years in the closet, I finally made myself get out FG and work on her cape; and now she's done!! It's such a relief to have her finished that I feel motivated to pull out another UFO and work towards a HD (we'll see how long that feeling lasts!).

I've picked this one back up again to work on. We seem to be having a love/hate thing going on though. She is one of my favorite Mirabilia designs. But I get so bored while stitching the greens, so I keep putting her away! Why oh why did I have to leave all of that green for the end? I am going to try really hard not to put her back in the closet...

My Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty

I thought I would post my complete Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty.

The first is Beauty. The roses on the top are actually ribbon roses that I made with a verigated silk from Rainbow Gallery.

The second is Cindy. She was stitched on R&R Reproduction's "Dawn's Early Light." Skin is one over one.

Hi everyone! Just to fill the space I thought I would post my completed Sleeping Beauty. This is actually the second time I stitched her. The first version (which was a gift for my Mom) was stolen from a fair exhibit and I never saw it again. My Mom was so upset I had to stitch it for her again!

I thought I'd start the ball rolling with a piccy of my Cinderella WIP - I'm stitching her on a SW Solo which looks slightly yellower than it does in real life.
