Ok, I started WFS about a week ago. I've completely finished her blue & green body and big tail fin. I started working on her "fin" on the back and looked to see what color to backstitch that in. That's when I noticed that in the backstitching instructions it says "upper dress 793". Dress?!?! mermaids in dresses???? I assume that they mean the shells since it doesn't indicate what color to bs those in. But 793 to bs Kreinik 191 in seems a little...

There are no beads on yet, and I may leave off the decorative piece at the top. So really I am almost there but I guess the beading will take a few days. She is gorgeous! I do love her.

Here is my finished MOA, I am so excited to finally have her done and can't wait to get her sent to Jill! For some reason I can't take good pics and when I look at the picture through Webshots it looks so faded and like there is squares on the fabric. When I look at her just from my picture file on my computer she looks fine....oh well not much I can do about it. Thanks for looking!

Am trying to get these two designs kitted up but am struggling to find a fabric that is close to matching the Shimmering Oceanic by Sugar Maple for Enchanted Mermaid.
Any suggestions?

Also where do you goes to kit up your charts? I have the charts already, just not all the other ingredients to make the magic happen

She has all her beads on now! She is stitched on 28 count lugana in Glacier from Countrystitch. I chose to leave the back fin and bottom tail fin off. The beads were switched to Delicas and I changed the Kreiniks to Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure Braids. The fabric looks really gray in the picture but it is a light green.

So far I am enjoying the hair, its easy to follow. She has such a pretty, delicate face.
