I completed the Snow Queen this weekend. This was the special design in the CS&N calendar for 2010. I have never in my life been more happy to be finished with a design!!!! About midway through, I kinda stopped having fun stitching this one, for a couple of reasons. 1. I hate color charts! 2. So my calendar came and I've had this odd cut of SMF Dragon Moon for a few years now. The fabric was just the right size, I had white DMC, I had one of the bead colors and so I was just forced to start this and add it to my project hopping pile.

Bejewelled Bugs question

On the Complementary bug patterns it says that the bumble bee and butterfly are 1 and 2 of 6 bugs... does that mean that there are going to be 4 more free bugs ? Or are the 2 butterfly and 2 dragonfly charts included in that number.... but that would make 8 bugs?

Sunflower Fairy DMC subs

I've been working on DMC subs for those who don't want to buy the Valdani threads and I think I've come up with some fairly good ones. Anyone else who has the threads and/or has stitched her, please feel free to make different suggestions. Here is my list (for what it's worth ):

DH fixed our desktop, so here's a new scanned pic that shows the true fabric color. I stink at taking pictures.

Hi guys, sorry if im posting in the wrong bit, but i dont see where else I can ask this lol....been a mirabilia fan for many years and looking to stitch the Halloween Fairy *trick or treat*.
I know its in a cross stitch and needlework magazine but is it the September 2008 issue?

Mine is stitched on the recommended fabric, Chantilly Belfast with all the recommended fibers and beads. It was a real joy to stitch, and I am actually going to miss working on it. Next up is White Christmas...
