She really does stitch up quite quickly! (That is, until I look at the rest of the pattern and see how much is left! )

I just ADORE the colors in her. I've only been stitching for, well, not quite a week. I'll try to post a WIP picture this weekend.

Sooz- I LOVE your progress! That fabby is gorgeous! I wasn't daring enough to stitch her on a hand dyed. I'm using regular old Mushroom Lugana.

That 102C really sucks. Also it's blended with a DMC. My advice would be to swap out the 102C with an equivilent gold in a #4 braid or a Petite Treasure braid. And if you can find a darker shade of gold instead of blending it with a DMC thread, that'd probably be a lot better. The braid completely shreds the DMC.

Mine came in the mail today and seeing the picture of this beauty IRL, ooooh la la! I am going to put her on PTP Swamp opalescent, I want a deep rich looking fabric color.

She is laying here by my stitching chair screaming at me which I really don't think is very queen like behavior I am currently working on Fairy Idyll and she will not leave my stand until she is done. So does this mean I have to listen to all this...

I was wondering who owns Venetian Opulence or who intends to own it, and if you have decided on fabric or what fabrics have you been thinking about using.

I have hopped my tookus on the wagon so I don't own it yet but I will eventually, and as far as fabric goes I just don't know, I am hoping to be inspired by some floss tosses.

Where can i buy the seasonal queens?

I did her on Silkweaver's Sparkling Forest-changed the candle and the ribbon coming down from the candle to reds.
