I just bought the letter P. I think this is going to be my New Years start. I would love to finish this by the end of January. I am soooo envious of you all who can finish a Mira in less than a month. Most of you have just as busy of a life like me. I am so slow I guess! I purchased a darker green linen than the model was stitched on. It looks very pretty none the less. I will try to stitch it with CC. Just depends on have many I will need to get. Hope you all have a fun time...

I will not be doing the border on the T or I, or the background on the I. I plan to do it all on one piece of Waterlily fabric.

Now to save up for materials. And find the time to stitch it.

Progress on April's Blue Diamond

April's Blue Diamond progress. There's a little bit cut off at the top and at each side because my scanner wasn't big enough. I'm stitching it on 32 ct. Lilac Crystal Lugana from PTP.

She WAS a lot of work - I agree with Michele. Stitched on 32ct evenweave from Silkweaver - Summer Breeze. It's for my niece and I might do the rest of her initials, as well! (Well, I think I will, since I made sure I had all the supplies and fabric! )

This one had been languishing in my ever-increasing WIP pile for a while (well actually, it's been a whole year since she was last on the Qsnaps!! ), so I decided to dig her out and give her some love...but urgh...all that white!!! She'll be worth it though, she's very pretty and sparkly IRL....

Holiday Fairy Question

Hi all, recently was able to get all six of Nora's holiday fairys (ended up getting TWO of Christmas Elf and Thanksgiving Fairy, but thats a story for another time!) I was wondering if anyone knew whether Nora would be making any more, or if that was all there was going to be?

Reason I ask is because I want to stitch all these fairys and then get them framed together into the one frame. I don't want to have them stitched and framed, to then have another design get released!...

Some more progress. There's a little more stitching that's cut off at the top of the picture, but not enough to really make a difference. The fabric looks a bit warmer, and more lilac IRL. Darn scanner...
